What's with the terrible reviews?! Long story short: Tammy is a charming coming of age story that those of us who have been sucker punched throughout our lives can relate to. McCartney's crass, bumbling charm pulled me in and Sarandon nailed drunken subtlety.
Bates is just awesome, 'nuff said. I think everyone wanted a spin off of her character from Bridesmaid, but ended up getting a dramedy.
