Review of Tammy (2014) by Jim S — 27 Mar 2015
At about 30 minutes into this film it veers off the comedy highway and onto the road of uneven drama. With the team of Melissa McCarthy and Susan Sarandon, it's like watching a not very funny episode of "Mike and Molly".
This was directed by Ben Falcone, who's married to McCarthy, which just goes to show you that no matter how well you're connected in Hollywood, you still make mistakes. It has such a great cast of talented actresses but it still just falls flat.
