Review of Tamara Drewe (2010) by Carys E — 11 Sep 2010
I loved the graphic novel loosely based on Hardy's Far From The Madding Crowd. But the film really brought this to life. Directed by Stephen Frears, this was joy to watch and not just bacause of the lovely Gemma.
Her character was more of a cipher for this great ensemble cast. Roger Allam and Tamsim Greg stood out in particular. A must see.
