Review of Tamara Drewe (2010) by Adi V — 19 Sep 2010
OK, ok, this could be called a chick flick or whatever... but it was an enjoyable comedy with some serious undertones including adultery, egotism, stalking,... the dialogue is great, the script is good, and the acting was on par.
.. wasn't too impressed with the rock star guy and the two teenage girls were initially funny but started to grate. The performances of Gemma Arterton, Tamsin Grieg, Roger Allam and Luke Evans were pretty good and the acting held the film together well.
Enjoyable.
