Review of Tamara Drewe (2010) by Øystein B — 18 Oct 2010
I went to see this film with high hopes. Some of these were fulfilled but the majority not. A great performance from Gemma Arterton's shorts in a story which revolved around her return to the village of her childhood, along with a new nose, and her soon to be tangled love life, flitting from rock star to local old leach to local hunk.
The film started promisingly before dipping for quite a while to be revived around an adulterous revelation, a fight in a field and stampeding cows. And Gemma Arterton's shorts......
