There are many ways this film could have been better. If I read the source material, there might be more. But from what I see, Tamara Drewe is an okay satirical drama detailing two writers who both make bad mistakes, and their women involved.
One of the women, Tamsin Greig, sowed her personality into her Beth character, playing an extremely believable part.
