Review of Tamara (2005) by Shawn S — 25 Mar 2008

Now this is by no means what I would normally consider a remotley good horror movie at all. First it is nothing more than a rip off of Carrie. In a theme all to common these days the unpopular girl gets involved in a prank that goes horribly wrong and she comes back even stronger and with a vengance.

Now what makes the movie great is it's stupidity. For some reason this was entertaining. It's one of the movies that is not great for what it is suposed to be but beacuse of how poorly it was done you just have to laugh and you can't take it too seriously.

There are many occurences of this when Tamara is done yelling at Mr Notoli she stroms out of the classroom and what I thought was her walking into a locker. Just look at the girls face who she walks by when she does it.

Then in the instances where there are some death scenes and someone is killed with a shovel instead of the nearby axe or a screwdriver. Like I said ealier stole a concept from the carrie movie especially with an ending more along the lines of carrie 2.

Sadly not nowhere near as great but still highly entertaining for other reasons.
