Review of Tamara (2005) by Roxsy T — 14 Dec 2009
I really thought this movie was going to be horrible. I hate the fact that there's so many movies just like it and yet I can't help but to watch them. I love the typical "weird girl falls victim to a prank--weird girl becomes sexy girl and gets payback".
I definately always enjoy the role reversal when the cool kids become powerless and fearful or one they tormented. However, Jenna Dewan plays the "loser outcast" in this film and although they tried to dress her down I still find it difficult to believe she would be victimized by these kids at school especially later in the movie when she's in her bra and panties while the prank is in motion.
Yeah, with her body she definately wouldn't have been the ugly freakazoid girl in school! She had a better body than Melissa Elias's character did. Still, this movie was kind of enjoyable, alittle boring here and there but it was okay.
Definately not the worst movie I've ever seen.
