Review of Tallulah (2016) by Sarah P — 07 Aug 2016
The cast performed up to par with the characters bringing daily struggles of life on the screen. The director ultimately did a great job in bringing the emotion into the camera lenses. Certain scenes reflect the character personality and emotions which are captured well.
Shaky cam was used often in the film to show a personal experience which I am not a huge fan of. The film may show the truth of motherhood, relationships, and problems in general. The storyline is predictable like most other films of this genre.
The difference in Tallulah and other films is modern circumstances in which the characters are facing. People watch the film because they can relate to the characters who are different and unique in a special way.
Essentially, each character is looking for love in one form or another whether that is through friendship, children, significant other, or love from within.
