Review of Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby (2006) by Zachary C — 03 Feb 2014

I just want to get this review over with. This movie is really funny, but it's only good to see once. The reason: Will Ferrelll. Will Ferrell is a great actor, but seriously though when he is always given the big roles in the movie sometimes he can be way too much to handle.

I mean when he's given smaller roles like Mugatu in Zoolander then I can handle him, but please don't make him the main character. He gets to be too much. Now onto the real review. This movie is very funny.

It parodies Nascar in ways that only someone who has watched Nascar with his dad (forcibly if I might add) that only someone who has watched Nascar for many years will understand. And I love how it makes fun of the other sports movies in the sense that when Ricky Bobby loses his driving ability he is given training exercises that are ridiculous for anybody to actually do.

And one final note: I hate Nascar, but this movie is enjoyable despite that. Even if you don't like Nascar give this a chance.
