This starts very well, and is hilarious at first, but soon bows to being quite normal really.
I had no idea this was a true story, until pretty much the end, I had never heard of this radio man that was loved by so many n the 60's. The early days of talk radio really got hold of people I guess.
Cheadle is always a guarantee of late and he doesn't disapoint here at all. Backed up by a solid cast as well, this all becomes very easy to watch and quite enjoyable despite never delving oo dee into too much.
This is a fairly standard Bio Pic that would'nt really be out of place as a tv movie of the week on some channel somewhere, but it's a great watch, at least the first time and has some genuine heart.
