Review of Talk to Me (1996) by Samuel R — 18 Dec 2007
A great story about friends, important history, ambition, telling it like it is, the choices/dilemma faced by black men, and about DC. It manages to present complicated issues in a nuanced way rather than a simple brow-beating.
Everyone chooses their own path, each with strengths and weaknesses. But really, it's also simply a hilarious story about friendship. PS - it shows Ben's Chilli Bowl... yum!
