Review of Talk to Me (1996) by Lorenzo V — 23 Jan 2008
I thought this movie deserves mad props for the performances alone. Don Cheadle once again shows his range as an actor in an impressive manner. His performance as radio DJ Petey Greene is just nothing short of fantastic.
He has a good cast to back him up with Chiwetel Ejiofor and Taraji Henson. This movie, even though it is more about the legacy of Petey, deals with the rocky territory a friendship might go through in a life.
Sure the last 1/3rd of the movie might seem as if it lost its focus, but I don't think it did. Great job by everyone here.
