Review of Talk to Me (1996) by Jacky L — 23 Nov 2008
An enjoyable film. Great performances all around, from the hilarious Taraji P Henson to 'Dewey' and of course, the man Don Cheadle as the legendary DJ, Petey Greene. The very able cast make this film.
Story/pacing-wise, it felt 30 minutes too long.. that could be partly due to the very uncomfortable seats in the theatre. This is a largely autobiographical film (I think), and it was a pretty decent glimpse into the man's life.
