Review of Talihina Sky: The Story of Kings of Leon (2011) by Shawna L — 25 Jan 2012
The description refers to Kings of Leon as "budding rock legends," which doesn't make sense for a band that's had only two whirlwind albums with a third that was only alright in my opinion and according to the charts.
I dig these boys--a lot--but they'll have to put out several more ball-buster albums to earn the title of Rock Legend, be it budding or fully grown. Whatever they're called, if you're a fan, this is a fun film that gives a bird's eye view of their social, familial lives both past and present.
Furthermore,it shows just how impoverished and back-woods they were before fame as well as how connected and family oriented they've remained.
