Review of Tales of the Grim Sleeper (2014) by Bronwen C — 08 May 2015
The movie has some structural issues, but is an important documentary. It's a sad commentary on the LAPD that so many black women who also happened to be sex workers and/or substance abusers were allowed to be murdered or just disappear without it being news.
As one interviewee commented, the streets were a hunting ground for multiple serial killers, because they knew nothing was going to happen to them.
