Review of Tales from the Script (2009) by Alan O — 25 Apr 2010
A good documentary explaining just how hard it is to sustain a career as a script writer in Hollywood. The writer is so often the whipping boy, the scapegoat or the servant to the powers that be ie. the studio execs, and more often than not they get no credit both financially or critically for the finished product. For every script you have made, you will have a greater list unsold. A hard life with only the very few being rewarded.
Interesting movie, food for thought for any aspiring writers..
