Review of Tales from the Darkside: The Movie (1990) by Dave A — 20 May 2008

Good horror movie from the early nineties that revolves around an angry mummy wreaking havoc on college students involving in handling it; a hitman who gets more than he bargained for when it comes to eliminating a black cat; and an artist whose memory of an all too real moment about a gargoyle's murder of a human being.

Strong horror film has a lot going for it but the mummy story is the weakest link in an otherwise good horror film with Buster Pointdexter, Julianne Moore, Steve Buscemi, William Hickey and Christian Slater in roles.
