Review of Tales from the Crypt (1972) by Neil O — 31 Jul 2008
One of the very best Amicus portmanteau films with an excellent cast and some great storylines. The hideous Joan Collins can't even spoil the first story, a Christmas tale featuring homicidal maniac dressed as Santa Claus, Peter Cushing is excellent in an award winning portrayal of Grymsdyke, hounded to death by his horrid neighbours and Nigel Patrick is excellent as a cruel manager at a Blind home.
This is fantastic stuff, which never flags.
