Review of Tales from the Crypt (1972) by George B — 03 Nov 2009
A solid anthology of horror tales from the old comic series, with a great ensemble cast of stars. Every story was at least fair though my favorites are the one Peter Cushing is in where his neighbors get rid of him on Valentines day only to realise that maybe they did not do a good job of it.
.. lol. Also I love the last tale about an army officer who takes over a old folks home of blind people. He treats them cruelly but the blind are not as helpless as he thinks. The scenes where they are getting their revenge reminds me so much of Freaks (1932) I was waiting to hear "gooble goble gooble goble one of us one of us" lol.
Anyway defintly worth owning for horror fans, I got my copy on dvd with the other horror anthology Vault of Horror for 5 bucks brand new at Wal Mart of all places.
