I knew these stories seemed familiar, they are indeed some of our old fairy tales, epics, myths. Uncensored, told masterfully. At first it is a bit gross and strange. But you will soon be rewarded with creativity and surprise.
It shows everything you wish other movies would show you and more. Instead of stretching out these epic tales over 3 movies with a bunch of fluff to squeeze out every penny, they give you a quality tale with spectacular acting.
