Talaash...on the surface it looked like finally someone has dared to make a indian noir movie since 'manorama six feet under'...but talaash fells short on many account. The movie is nicely atmospheric and captures the mumbai nights with some really nice shots, nice performance by all 3 leads and special mentions for Nawazzuddin siddiqui and Raj kumar yadav but its the genre transition from suspense thriller to the supernatural drama which feels forced and counter intutive which in the end leaves you underwhelmed and lets the movie down.
I will still go with three stars for the lead performance and the nice cinemetography which give the movie the deep noir feel.
