Review of Takva: A Man's Fear of God (2006) by Korkor A — 17 Jan 2010
I saw this film at just the right time, as I have been going through a bit of a spiritual crisis myself. I could completely relate to the main character's reaction to finding out that the world is not nearly as devout as he is, and even the most seemingly obvious situations are not in B&W but in shades of gray.
I learned something too, in that there was much coverage of the Muslim faith and how their religious services and rituals work.
