Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by Laimis Z — 22 Dec 2009
Fun at times yet never fully coherent. it tries to be a film about family, about a little town, as well as about a festival. there are many threads in it, but neither is fully developed. it has its moments.
but it never sticks. it just passes by. just like the festival itself. maybe that's the whole point. whoknows. but as a film it doesnt keep steady focus. never reaches its potential.
