Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by Hossain F — 24 Dec 2009
It's unfocused, but charming. The story is not about the music, but rather about the organization of the event and lives which were changed- it's a very Ang Lee way to look at it. He's a humanist, so this is what he would find the most interesting aspect of the Woodstock story to tell, and I feel the same way.
We have countless documentaries which focus on the music, so I'm happy to see a more personal take.
