Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by David Ray G — 08 Feb 2010
This film was about just 3 days of love, peace and music? Really? It felt like a whole month to me. Utterly boring, maybe it's one of those films that are good for the cinema, but not for the DVD since there you have no choice but to see it.
This movie was about Woodstock, but there really wasn't much music to wallow in. It was seen from a business-related scope and not from an essential one - the storytelling was typically framed and thus lacked excitement. Emile Hirsch and Liev Schreiber I enjoyed watching, but even they couldn't save this film.
Not entertaining, not evoking, not intriguing, nothing more than a bad attempt. End of.
