A lot of stock characters and not a lot of depth. HOWEVER, Ang Lee does capture the untold story of Woodstock: the story of the townspeople versus the star-lighted musicians in the documentary. The film also tries to mimic the footage and editing of the original and famed documentary with split screens and Super8 (?) film.
