Review of Taking Woodstock (2009) by Toby E — 16 Jul 2010
Capturing the event that defined its time and generation. I particularly liked the background side of things revolving around the actual organisational/infrastructural elements. Awesome sets and interpretation of the separate events within the the main event and not focusing on the main stage.
The relationships with the parents and others that join along the way are played very well and naturally. Ang lee has pulled of an authentic piece.
