Review of Taking Lives (2004) by Mohammed A — 22 Nov 2009
I saw it once, in theaters, and thought it was decent, but kind of instantly forgettable. This DVD is the unrated Director's Cut, but I didn't notice any real differences. Anyways, overall, the cast is very strong, the look is very good, the music is stunning (Caruso is great with music), and it was alot more fun than I recalled.
Not original, and it sure as hell isn't Seven, but really, that's just too hard to live up to, so, I'll take this over Ashley Judd's similar films (isn't that it's own genre? Ashley Judd crime thriller?).
