Review of Taking Chance (2009) by Sarah G — 01 Jul 2009
A very emotional film that is based on a true story. More of a documentary style. The movie is about the moving of the remains of a solider that was lost in the line of duty. There is a lot of procedure that must be done at every check point.
It's very sad because the main character insists on staying with the body, not only out of respect but also out of duty. Most people give the main character the respect without even a second glance.
It is hard for the main character to remember the reason why so many are being lost in battle because he doesn't necessarily agree with why the country is still at war. A very touching film that gets to the core of loss and remembrance.
