Review of Taking Chance (2009) by Billy B — 13 Jan 2010

As a veteran, I may be impartial to this film - but it shows, in such a perfect way, what it is like to adorn the uniform of a service member, all of it - from the kids peeking behind chairs, awkward silence, or even people not knowing how to act when they are around you - this film shows it all.

I can understand some of the reviews - some people will not get this movie - some people will cling to it. I lost a great friend and fellow service member just before this movie came out and I had no idea if I could even get through the whole thing - this movie was an honor to watch.

.. I didn't just see this movie, I felt it. Thank you.
