Returning in tone and form to Getting Any? (Considered by some as Kitano's low point) this is equally surrealistic and lowbrow funny, but also manages to mix in a bit of esoteric surrealism for good measure.
However, previous Kitano films are essential viewing in order to 'get' any jokes.
