Absolutely stunning Japanese arthouse(?) featuring chronic surrealism. Lost me during a few scenes which were very comparable to the work of David Lynch. Incredibly self-referential and a poignantly sad take on the life of a down-and-out actor waiting for The Audition that will catapult him to fame.
Highly recommended!
