Heist movies shouldn't require absolute brilliance to be good, but they should at least have a brain in their head. 'Takers' is sadly not a smart heist movie. Now, you CAN have fun with a dumb movie, but there's really not much fun to be had with 'Takers'.
It takes itself so seriously, but comes off as unintentionally hilarious at times thanks to some weird choices of music in scenes that are supposed to come off as dramatic. Rappers and R&B singer also do not make for good actors in a film of this type.
Period.
