Review of Taken 3 (2014) by Zachary Y — 16 Mar 2015
Unnecessary, unwanted, utterly pointless. While Taken 2 at least kept some of the fun action ingenuity of the first film, "3" just feels like one big cliche with no concrete substance linking played-out family drama, arbitrary high-octane action sequences, and a predictable convoluted storyline.
Neeson's perpetual intensity and Maggie Grace's charm carries the film barely enough for anyone with a brain to make it through.
