Review of Taken 2 (2012) by Dave H — 04 Jan 2015
See my review for Taken 1 re my distaste for the underlying socio-political themes. They are relevant here too, because this film is more a remake than a sequel. Yet once again, Neeson - and some action sequences (and stunning Turkish locations) - make it worthwhile.
I just hope the third instalment doesn't go with the America=good, foreign=bad angle yet again. (Although it's probably too much to hope that the plot won't be rehashed a third time).
