Basically, Liam Neeson killed everyone in the first movie and their family wants revenge. The villain has the common sense to use losing l*ved ones as a means for revenge evn though their business was kidnapping -.-".
This time around, Liam guides his daughter to do the spy stuff and then wraps the loose ends himself. Oh, and she got her driving license after this ordeal.
