While Liam Neeson still handles his role as a tough badass yet caring dad as he did in the original this still lacks much of anything new that justifies this movies existance other than to cash in on the first movies popularity.

While the first movie did a great job of bringing attention to human trafficing through an action movie plot this movie isn't really about anything except stopping a revenge plot against our main hero making it generic.
