I mean this not as a criticism but a warning. If you watch this, be prepared for a lot.....a... lot... of scenes of Michelle Williams and the male interest NOT committing adultery. Also, know that you're supposed to go along with the male interest being likeable even though he spends an inordinate effort and time trying to break up an up til now happy marriage of a woman he just met (because she's SO beautiful, of course, and isn't that a good enough reason?) and a man he's never met. And if you're like me you're supposed to suppress your knowledge of real life people and their tendency to only want what they can't have and not wonder how Margo could even consider jeopardizing her marriage for someone who likely wouldn't want her anymore ten days or so in, if that.

That being said, this movie does a possibly unparalleled job of showing some moments of people, the married couple together especially, acting like people really do and not how movie characters act. Its, like, almost unnerving how real the actors seem when they're just acting goofy or dorky like people really do, in a way you can't even write, I don't think; you have to just have actors who can do it. Though it bummed me out when, in other scenes, they're more movie-ish and there's a Movie Monologue performed by Michelle Williams at one point. Its a sharp contrast.
