Review of Take the Money and Run (1969) by Buddy K — 22 Jun 2010
Rather amusing if a bit of a throw away flick. You see Allen's good eye for sight gags that will become a big part of his visual style over the next few movies and hints of the comic genius that matures with each flick between this and Love & Death (Allen's first comedic masterpiece).
A promising debut that'll be a treat for Woody Allen fans looking to see his beginings.
