Review of Take the Lead (2006) by Matt R — 17 Mar 2010
Though the core theme to this film, has been covered many times before, it never seems to grow old. Transforming, in this case, students who are considered to be down and outs into valuable members of society (as its portrayed). In this specific case, dance is the medium and passion that gives these students the vigor to want to do something with their lives and express the way they feel, to the rest of society.
In this moving and uplifting tale that is inspiring to all, that no matter the circumstance, as long as you have the desire within, anything is possible. A film which is suitable for the whole family to sit back and enjoy.
