Review of Take Shelter (2011) by Karrie V — 26 Apr 2012
What a wonderful story. Is it a SciFi? Mystery? Drama? Suspense? Yes. Everything, and everyone works perfectly in this movie. Although I haven't seen Nichols other film, if he does the same thing there that he does here, it would have to be great.
Curtis (Michael Shannon) is an extremely troubled character, and Shannon makes us feel for him 100%. All around wonderful film.
