Take Shelter ~ Noah in the modern world. Is he crazy, or can he really foresee an imminent apocalyptic event? You decide. A very effective, neatly-crafted film, with an exceptional lead performance by Michael Shannon.
It is, perhaps, just a little predictable for me. I think I saw the ending coming with a good 40 minutes to go. But it was a pretty engaging and thoughtful film. I give it a strong thumbs up. One of the best movies from 2011.
