Take Shelter is an engrossing story from start to finish. The awesome Michael Shannon heads an amazing cast in this quietly frightening film. Shannon's Curtis is dreaming of a storm to end all storms, and takes measures to protect his family, but secretly fears that he may be losing his mind.
Are his dreams warning of a frightening future, or is he falling prey to mental illness? You will not be able to look away from this story as it slowly builds a sense of dread and foreboding.
