Review of Take Out (2008) by Caroline K — 10 Jul 2008
One of the best films I've seen this year. From the artistic documentary style camera work to the outstanding acting by the entire cast, this film had me glued to the screen from beginning to end. Even though most of the story takes place either at the small Chinese restaurant or outside someone's front door, the scenes are never boring or feel repetitive, each one as original and intriguing as the next. The climatic ending is very powerful and this film stays with you long after the credits roll.
I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it yet.
