Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Alberto M — 28 Jul 2011
The opening credits are one the best I've seen and the fact that it's set in the 80's and the main character works in a Suncoast movie store which was an awesome store when it was open and it was nice to see it again.
As far as the movie goes it's very reminiscent of a John Hughes movie but the issues I have with it is not really the cast but that at times the movie slows down and is not as crazy or as funny as it should be but with a good soundtrack, enjoyable, and has a good message.
I generally love 80s movies and especially that "one night" teen ones so I liked this movie but even with some flaws the 80s factor and I can relate to the main character a lot made me overall like this movie.
