Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Ali E — 26 Aug 2011
A great addition to the slew of coming-of-age comedies. I was a bit let down by the fact that, aside from the obnoxious opening credit sequence and the music, there isn't much emphasis on the fact that it takes place in the 1980s.. Still, it's a very enjoyable and completely forgettable flick - just how they used to make 'em.
I also want to point out that, on top of being shelved for 4 years, this film was marketed so horribly that I'm surprised I stumbled upon it. Whoever is to blame needs a swift kick in the butt.
