Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Roxanne R — 25 Dec 2011
A funny blast from the past, the 80's! This is a great film for recent college grads trying to find meaning and purpose in their lives. Those tortured souls that have no clue as to what to do in life or how to put their degree to good use.
Excellent soundtrack! A recent MIT graduate Matt Franklin (Topher Grace), his twin sister Wendy (Anna Faris), and his best friend Barry Nathan (Dan Fogler) try to figure out when to see Matt's dream girl Tori Fredreking (Teresa Palmer).
Following graduation, Matt has been working at a Suncoast Video store while trying to figure out what to do with his life. At the store he comes across Tori and puts on a facade of working for Goldman Sachs as a trader.
From that point, he continues lying to the girl of his dreams and the lies snowball into more trouble. From stealing a Mercedes to a marriage proposal and a wacky dance-off these young adults will learn about life, love, friendship, maturity and pursuing your dreams! Recommended and its never too late to pursue your dreams, never!
