Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Walter C — 18 Jan 2012

Anna Faris, Topher Grace and Dan Fogler are all about ten years too old to be playing the characters they are supposed to play. The plot of this one is that a guy wants to ask out his high school crush (she recently finished University like he did) and lies about his job so that she will take interest in him. She invites him to a house party and he shows up hoping to get his number.

It's not awful, it's just been done before and done better in other movies. The best scene in the movie may be the truth or dare scene where Topher Grace and Teresa Palmer use the game to talk about high school and if she would have dated him if he asked her out.

If you miss it, you aren't missing much.
