Review of Take Me Home Tonight (2011) by Christian B — 14 Jun 2012
I couldn't wait for the movie to be released ever since I saw the trailer. While waiting, I often heard that the movie cannot be any good because the release date has been postponed multiple times; it helped balance out my high expectations.
The movie has a lot of funny scenes but somehow it does not give more than temporary laughs. I could relate to Matt Franklin but Tori Frederking did not win any sympathy with me. That's why I had problems buying the story since it was, to a great extent, focused on Matt's affection for Tori.
Overall, it's quite entertaining although not overwhelming. A good DVD for a fun evening at home.
